Award-Winning Portrait Photographer

Fine Art Portrait and Tintype Photographer based in Bristol.

Guy has a passion for images, theatre and performance.  Having studied art and photography at college he went on to enroll at Circomedia to train in circus arts and embarked on an international career specialising in fire and pyrotechnic performance.

Using his understanding of theatrics, light and performance he returned to photography with a new approach.  He produced a series of tintype portraits of performers, gaining him a prestigious Fellowship to the Royal Photographic Society (FRPS).

With a passion for alternative and historic processes, Guy is continuing to experiment with new hybrid techniques.  Specialising in both digital and wet plate photography, he designs and builds his own large format cameras, enabling him to capture images and video in a totally unique way.

As well as taking portraits for individuals, performers, musicians and artists in his Bristol studio, he also accepts commissions for editorial, advertising and commercial work.
